Does LaPrade’s rent Ski Boats? Canoes? Paddle Boards? Tubes?

LaPrade’s only rents tritoons. Tubes/towables are available for purchase in the ship store.

Do I need a special license to rent a boat?

No, you will have to watch a boat rental safety video before you pick up the boat. As well as take a safety test that will be emailed to you. If you have seen the video, but not in the last 6 months, we will ask you to watch it again. Please find the link for the video here: lapradesmarina.com/boat-rental-safety-video

Can I bring my dog on the rental boat with me?

Pets must be leashed while at the marina and you are expected to clean up after them. Well-behaved dogs are allowed on the rental boat for a $25 pet fee. We will charge a cleaning fee ($75) if the boat is unreasonably dirty, subject to LaPrade’s discretion.

Can I make a reservation for dinner?

The Lake Burton Grill and Billy Goat Island Pizza Bar do not accept reservations unless you are bringing a large party (14 or more).

Can LaPrade’s service or tow my boat?

Watersports Central can take care of all your boat service needs and can be reached at 678-541-0283. They also sell watersports equipment such as: wake/surf boards, life jackets, water pads, etc.

Can I buy a fishing license at LaPrade’s?

No. you must purchase a fishing license at georgiawildlife.com/fishing/angler-resources. Additionally, you must also purchase a trout license if fishing for trout.

Do you have any slips available for boat storage?

Can I place a to-go order?

Can I park my boat and/or trailer overnight? Cost to park?

Yes, on a first come first served basis. Boat parking is $50/night. Trailer parking is $10/night. TRANSIENT DOCKAGE IS NOT AVAILABLE ON HOLIDAY WEEKENDS!

What are your current hours?

Our hours are always posted in the blue bar at the top of the site, and in the right footer of the site.

Can I order items in the ship store online?

No. All items must be purchased in the ship store and picked up before the season ends.
